Justin Baraniuk is a composer and guitarist from Winnipeg, Canada. He performs a wide variety of styles from the 1500’s to the present which include medieval, symphonic, jazz, big band, rock, folk, flamenco, classical and pop. His primary instrument is the classical guitar (also called nylon string or folk guitar) and also plays the electric guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, harmonica and trombone.
He took his undergraduate in music performance (classical guitar) at the University of Brandon and has won several awards with the Manitoba Music Festival. He also holds a diploma in audio engineering from Mid Ocean School of Media Arts (2012) and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Winnipeg (2022).
Justin plays a Daryl Perry guitar and is a supporting member of the Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society.
